Invitation
As of today, the global pandemic, wars, climate change, social problems and economic depressions increase the importance of sustainable development. In this context, sustainable development goals, which are a call for universal action that includes the goals aimed to be achieved by the member states of the United Nations by the end of 2030, are very important goals for the solution of global problems. The said purposes are; It focuses on the solution of social, cultural and ecological issues consisting of 17 main topics such as ending hunger and poverty all over the world, combating climate change, ensuring gender equality, promoting quality education, responsible production and consumption. From this point of view, the issue of sustainable development is parallel to the aims of the social work profession and constitutes the focus of the symposium to be held this year.
 
Our symposium named “Social Work Symposium 2022: Sustainable Development and Social Work” was held this year in cooperation with Karabuk University and Social Workers Association, on 13-15 October 2022, Karabuk University Safranbolu Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Prof. Dr. It will be held at the Saadettin Ökten Conference Hall. We are pleased to invite you to the symposium, which will be held in a hybrid way (both face-to-face and online).
